Replacing Humans

Replacing Humans (c)

 by Michael Casey

Now, I'll rattle through this before Tinnitus ascending kicks down the door

My dad said 40 years ago, that automation would ruin the world

He was a blacksmith originally

and his brother Willie was a Ploughman

before dashing back to Kerry  to be a mother

when Uncle Dan's wife died and he had all the kids to raise

so Willie helped with that, and that's why I'm part of a Clan

Now

machinery does and has taken over

BUT

the  pace of it is alarming

So

what are going to do

Tax the machine to train and retrain those left unemployed

and

Ultimately you have to have a basic income

NOT

billionaires getting richer and saying BYE

with no responsibility for society

which does exist

So

UBER with computers take over

but yu lose the SOUL

no cabby wisdom and bits of information

you are more efficient maybe but lose the Soul

this goes for anything that replaces people

is as obvious as the crack in your bum

so we invent things to replace the soul

the Metaverse or Gaming maybe

which is more expensive than a few beers

and imagination used to be

and we are charged to return nak t what we used to be

NOW

with AI we can write perfect letters

BUT everybody remains illiterate

so schools should buy dictionaries instead

and learn the old fashioned way

then AI can talk etc

but it is too much information going over most people's heads

AI just regurgitates and runs out of steam

the irony is that without human interaction it fails

WE humanity are the GAS that drives it

so what is the price of gas

my IP is for sale, a sum, a donation, a house and a residual

and I know my worth so Pay UP

and my name remains for all Eternity

Michael Casey the fat silver haired writer from Birmingham England

wrote it all

3,000,000 word or so

lock the Intern in a  room for a week and work out a the angles

cheap at double the price because there is so much material

and without it AI just dies

common sense

which only now the clever clogs have only just worked out

I grew up as part of of a family of 13 if you include lodgers

And Variety is the spice of life

and AI too

so listen to me

and pay the price
